Now I know that in todays world credit checks are a must for anything. I understand people trying to protect an investment. I just want to know why it cost $30 for a realtor to get a credit check, which I can get thru Equifax for less than $10? It's a pretty good scam since virtually no one will rent to you without a credit check, done by them, cuz heaven forbid you bring it in yourself. It might be a forgery or something. I'm just wondering how much money one of these agencies averages per month just on credit check income? Especially from the poor slobs who get turned down and thus are just out $30.
Anyway, in case you hadn't figured it out, I'm moving and thus dealing with these fees everywhere I go. I may sound petty but when you are shelling out $60 per application it adds up quite rapidly. I guess the lesson I learned is research, know exactly what you want, and when you see it go for it. Cuz I just can't afford to be applying to every possible interest.

Stop bitching.
Man, I only complain about how miserable life is in general, but you...you complain about minutia. Talk about nit-picky.
